Tender Details
Council is calling for suitable qualified Building Contractors to undertake the construction of the Auburn Centre for Community, Macquarie Road, Auburn. The project involves refurbishment of the former Auburn Bolwing Club and a new extension of the existing building to form a new multi-purpose community centre.
Council has obtained funding for this project from the Federal Government under their Community Infrastructure Program.
The proposed works are a combination of refurbishment work to existing spaces and new building works. The major works being undertaken include:
- Construction of a new extension of multi-purpose/meeting rooms.
- Extensive refurbishment of the existing bowling club building including new services.
- Site works and landscaping includeing a new childrens outdoor area.
- Environmental initiatives including stormwater recycling, solar power generation and solar hot water heating.
