WSROC / HIRE OF TRUCKS FOR 2009-2010 - C10/2009

Expressions of Interest from lorry owner drivers and Tenders from fleet owners are invited for the hire of tipper trucks, with drivers, to Blacktown City Council for the financial year 2009-2010.

 Three (3) types of trucks are envisaged to be hired, namely:-

 (1)       2 axle tipper trucks (i.e. single rear axle) with minimum capacity of 5.78 cubic metres (as specified in the Transport Industry Excavated Materials, Consolidated Contract Determination).

 (2)       3 axle tipper trucks (i.e. bogie rear axle) with minimum capacity of 9 cubic metres (as specified in the Transport Industry Excavated Materials Consolidated Contract Determination).

 (3)       Tipper truck and dog trailer combination (carrying capacity 42t - 48t)

Prospective tenderers can either download the tender documents  free of charge from www.tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc or obtain them from the counter on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council’s Administration Centre at 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown, NSW 2148, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Tenders/expressions of interest enclosed in a sealed envelope marked “ Contract C10/2009- Hire of Trucks 2009-2010”, can either be lodged within Council’s tender box  at the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Administration Centre or mailed to:

 lodge electronically, through the eTendering website at https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/        

Fleet owners shall complete the Tender Form (A) and Forms A1 to A3 only. Lorry owner drivers shall complete the Expressions of Interest Form B and Forms B1 to B3 only.  Tenders/Expressions of Interest shall include the completed Tender Form/Expression of Interest, certificates of currency of insurances and registration for the trucks tendered.
