Tender Details

Tenders are invited for the purchase & removal of stockpiled sand, virgin excavated natural material (VENM), excavated at the Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility on the corner of The Driftway and Blacktown/Richmond Road, South Windsor. There is approximately 23,500m³ of sand available for removal from the site. A specification describing how and when the material can be removed is attached to the Tender document

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

Tenders are to be addressed to the General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, and must be sealed in an enveloped endorsed "Tender No.002/09. Tender for Sand Removal from Hawkesbury City Waste Management Facility" and placed in the tender box at Council offices, 366 George Street, Windsor before closing time, or submitted by electronic submission to the WSROC site. Tenders will be received until 3pm on 2 September 2008. Tenders will be opened in public in Council offices, immediately following the time of closure and tenderers or their representatives are invited to attend. Tenderers can submit an application for the entire amount of sand available, or for smaller quantities. Council may choose to award the tender to a single tenderer, a number of tenderers, or none of the tenderers. Canvassing of Councillors in relation to this matter will automatically disqualify the applicant from the process.
