Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified consultants or consortia of consultants are invited for the provision of services to deliver construction documentation for the Castle Hill Main Street Project.
The scope of works involves managing a multi-disciplinary team of specialist sub-consultants to deliver detailed design and construction documentation for a major streetscape project.
The major objective of this design phase is to deliver, construction documentation that resolves existing utility service conflicts, and allows construction of the streetscape as outlined in the Concept Design Report by Environmental Partnership on the Castle Hill Main Street (Sept 2008). Significant consultation with representatives of Government authorities including the North West Metro Project Team, will be required.
Deliverables will include: Tender Construction Plans related to agreed areas, Specifications, Estimates / Bill of Quantities, Environmental Assessments and Approvals, Construction Methodology, and Maintenance Plans.
The head consultant will arrange for a complete analysis and resolution of potential conflicts with utility services of the concept design. A separate tender for the relocation and construction provision of utility services as required will proceed the final construction tender for the Main Street works.
The tender is to be a lump sum contract including all works and services as detailed in the contract brief.
The contract brief identifies that the works are separated into two separate stages, being
Main Street; and
Transport Interchange and Park.
The Main Street work is required to be completed by the end of April 2009. The Transport Interchange and Park work is required to be completed by December 2009. The timing of the Transport Interchange and Park, is concurrent with planning currently underway for the North West Metro Project.
