Tender Details

The Works shall comprise the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the mechanical plant as described hereunder:- 

         Provide shop drawings for the complete installation including all details of works to be provided by others, prior to the commencement of works. 

         Remove from site existing fan-coil and condensing units together with all refrigeration pipes, wiring and drains. 

         Provide new ducted split type reverse cycle unit as scheduled and shown on the drawing together with all necessary refrigeration pipework, drains, electric wiring and controls.

The units shall be installed with the manufacturers minimum service clearances.

 Provide four (4) ceiling mounted cassette units, split system reverse cycle as scheduled together with all necessary refrigeration pipework, drains, electric wiring and controls. 

        Install condensing units on wall brackets as shown on the drawing.

 

         Provide condensate drain piping from the packaged units. Drain shall be copper for floor standing unit and PVC for the cassette units.

 Provide dry media V form filters for the floor standing fan-coil unit.

  Modify existing sheetmetal ductwork as indicated on the drawing.

 Provide insulation of ductwork and refrigeration lines. All air conditioning duct shall be internally insulated as shown on the drawings.

 Provide sheetmetal protective covers for all refrigeration piping outside the air handling plantroom. Neatly fold sheetmetal to avoid sharp edges.

 Modify existing mechanical switchboard. This shall include:

1.      Removal of all redundant switchgear, cables etc. Clean and tidy up the interior of the switchboard. Remove all circuit breakers, contactors and wiring for all the existing electric duct heaters except for EDH-1.

2.      Provision of circuit breaker for new air conditioning unit.

 

Provide power submains from mechanical switchboards to new unit AC-1 

Provide power submains from new sub-board to new split type units AC-2, 3, 4 and 5. Provide new sub-board located under existing DB with circuit breakers and isolating switches adjacent to new condensing units.

 Provide controls as specified in CONTROLS clause.

 

Coordinate works with the existing services and building structures.

 Commission and test the installed system. This shall include air balancing of all air terminals in systems affected by the works.

  Label the installed equipment.

 Hoist all equipment.

  Provide operating and maintenance manuals.

  Provide as installed drawings.

  Provide defects liability as specified.

Provide twelve months preventive maintenance of the new installed systems.
