Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 1 / 2009 – Service and Supply of New and Retread Tyres for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Prices, subject to price adjustment after a period of twelve (12) months has elapsed.

This contract is for the supply of both new and retread plant and vehicle tyres to Blacktown City Council’s Depot located at Station Street, Rooty Hill NSW 2766. Blacktown City Council operates a fleet of approximately 480 plant and vehicles, including garbage collection trucks, construction and maintenance plant, light and commercial vehicles, sedans and station wagons.

Council’s Rooty Hill workshop will continue to provide breakdown service and a tyre changing facility at the Rooty Hill Depot.

Favourable consideration will be given to any supplier that is able to provide the services listed below and further provide initiatives for improvement to council’s tyre management.

Tenderers are required to submit with the tender all relevant details of Value-added services to be provided including but not limited to:

·              Performance measuring

·              Training

·              Stock control

·              Information/reports

·              Tyre trials

·              Not worth retreading (NWR) process

·              EFT payments

·              OH&S commitments

·              Environmental commitments
