Blacktown City Council is working to deliver increased public open space and stormwater management infrastructure to support the planned urban growth in the north west growth area.
Ken Birdsey Park (Reserve 882) is a site within the north west growth area that has the key objective of developing multifunctional open space and recreational facilities that meet community needs, promotes active and passive recreation, and provides flood and stormwater management infrastructure.
The site at Reserve 882 comprises a generally vacant area of land bound by Schofields Road to the north, Sciberras Avenue to the west and Shuttle Parade to the east. The area of land is approximately 20 hectares and is owned and managed by Blacktown City Council on an ongoing basis.
A Tender briefing will be held on site on Tuesday 04 July 2023 at 9am that will be open for all who wish to attend. The Tender briefing is non-mandatory, but Tenderers are encouraged to attend. The Tender briefing will provide an overview of the vision for the project and provide an opportunity for prospective Tenderers to fully understand the site constraints and for questions to be asked.
