HEADWALL STABILISATION WORKS
Auburn Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to undertake sandstone Headwall construction along Duck River near Peter Hislop Park. The project is part of ongoing stormwater upgrade works within the Council area. The proposed sandstone headwall is constructed in order to stabilise the river bank in the vicinity of the existing headwall in the Duck River. The section of the Duck River embankment is located near Peter Hislop Park, Auburn. The project includes backfilling of eroded section of embankment behind the proposed rock wall and grassing of the area behind the headwall.

REDEVELOPMENT OF RAILWAY PARK
Council is calling for suitable qualified Contractors to undertake landscape construction works for the upgrade of Railway Park, corner Rawson Street and Station Road, Auburn. This project is part of the ongoing Auburn Town Centre Public Domain Improvement Strategies. Upgrade works for the Park involves regrading of the existing park, part road closure and extension of Auburn Railway Station pedestrian forecourt, reuse of existing pavers & sandstone on site to create a new pathway networks, new park lighting & furniture and tree & shrub planting. Architectural components for the works include the installation of an automated public toilet system, new shade structures and precast concrete seats and stairs.
