CONSTRUCTION OF WYATT PARK STORMWATER HARVESTING SCHEME
Council is calling for suitable qualified Contractors to undertake the construction of the Wyatt Park Stormwater Harvesting Scheme, Church Street, Lidcombe. The project involves extraction of stormwater from an existing Sydney Water Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT), treating and storing the water to use for the irrigation of Lidcombe Oval and the Athletics Field which are located within Wyatt Park. The proposed works are located within a public park. There are existing active and passive users which will have to be accommodated during the construction. The major works being undertaken include: Supply and install pumps in the GPT with controls. Supply and Install a 120kl concrete buffer tank, Supply and Install 2 x 375KL steel storage tanks, Supply and install 3 hydrofilters Earthworks including all environmental controls, Filters and Treatment for the stormwater and all associated pipework, Electrical connection to mains, electrical controls, installation of Cloudmaster controller(supplied by Council), Training, Commissioning including the provision of as built documentation, Maintenance in the defects liability period.

Council is calling for suitable qualified Building Contractors to undertake the construction of the Auburn Centre for Community, Macquarie Road, Auburn. The project involves refurbishment of the former Auburn Bolwing Club and a new extension of the existing building to form a new multi-purpose community centre. Council has obtained funding for this project from the Federal Government under their Community Infrastructure Program. The proposed works are a combination of refurbishment work to existing spaces and new building works. The major works being undertaken include: Construction of a new extension of multi-purpose/meeting rooms. Extensive refurbishment of the existing bowling club building including new services. Site works and landscaping includeing a new childrens outdoor area. Environmental initiatives including stormwater recycling, solar power generation and solar hot water heating.

TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF AN ELECTRONIC WORK ORDER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
The Hills Shire Council is seeking tenders to provide an electronic Work Order distribution and remote data capture solution comprising software and hardware. Software is required to distribute information from an existing Work Order system to staff in the field. The hardware used to receive data must be capable of capturing additional data and returning this information remotely for upload to the original system. In relation to hardware, The Hills Shire Council may decide to call for a separate tender or purchase hardware through existing government contracts when the hardware requirements for the software are known as a result of this tender. If you submit a tender response you must pay the registration fee of $125 at the front counter, Council's Administration Centre, 129 Showground Rd, Castle Hill, NSW or over the phone on (02) 9843 0180. Tenders must be lodged electronically or placed in the tender box no later than the advertised closing time 2.30pm on 25 th September 2009.
